I told him why didnt you give me the paper in the first place when I was asking about it. I finally get to the cashier to pay, and Im told to go back to the kids zone, and sign some papers. There among myself and many other families in the same check in zone for the kids area.

He then tells me I have to go to the bowling lane to check in. I go to the kids play zone, so son can play he said to go to the kids check in zone I went there was no one in line. Its my first time here, and this one employee "Daniel with red glasses" just made my stay here very unpleasant. You know what youre getting into when you play those machines! I just want to say for the record that several people were winning stuff out of the machines while I was there! Oh, and boo on the whiny guy who couldnt win at the claw machine.
ROUND ONE KARAOKE PRICES FULL
Im definitely coming back here with just my husband for a date full of gaming! :-) Seriously, this place goes on and on and ON! There has to be well over 100 games and at least 20 different racing games (my sons favorite!) Theres bowling, pool, darts, karaoke rooms, and games, and games, and MORE games! Lol The prices are great too, like another reviewer mentioned. Of course, with all the flashing lights and sounds it caught my sons attention (mine too lol) so we decided to go on in and explore and I was in awe at how frickin cool it is! And BIG! This place is BOMBTASTICALLY awesome! I took my toddler to the mall today to walk around and we came across this arcade. I understand Round 1 wants to make sure nothing uncouth is happening behind closed doors but this is primarily a main reason I never see anyone renting out the rooms. Given that karaoke is supposed to be a private even between close family/friends this is a huge disappointment. There are no blinds to cover the window or door letting everyone and their dog stare at your group while you belt out your songs. However, unlike Japan there is absolutely no privacy given to karaoke rooms here. This is in-line with how karaoke rooms work in Japan which makes sense. Do note that a minimum of one drink order per person is required if you rent out a karaoke room. The karaoke rooms are a little bit of a let down. The bar is very close by which allows parents to sit and have a drink while supervising their kids bowling games. All their rentals and bowling balls are cleaned regularly (their arcade machines are not sadly) and the actual bowling area is very comfortable to sit at.

If however, you are going for billiards, bowling, or darts there prices are very competitive. Not only that, if you have young kids going for redemption games, do note that their ticket payoff at this location is astronomically low for the money you have to put in. The prices for the games are astronomically higher than other arcade competitors (primarily Dave & Busters) and while the Japanese imports (Hatsune Miku, Beatmania, REAL claw games) are nice to have, at 8 credits ($2) for one play the funds get drained very very quickly. However, for those who are going for the arcade you may be better off not going. The new Round One in Grapevine Mills is incredibly clean, well staffed, and overall gives a very positive vibe for a family friendly place to hang out.
